I had a lot of fun while being part of a short film called “Plant Volatiles”, which will be part of an upcoming exhibition called “Plant Communication” at the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich.

I talked about my recent work in applying our knowledge on plant volatiles for the early detection of insect pests in crops using our in-house made robotic volatile samplers delivered by drones.

I was asked about my favorite volatiles, and why volatiles are important for sustainable agriculture.

So looking forward to attend the exhibition and see the final product. Dates will be announced asap.
